What are the benefits of ThankYou Points?

ThankYou Points offer flexibility and convenience. You may redeem points for different types of rewards, including:

• Gift cards
• Citi Travel^® purchases
• Shopping with participating retailers
• Cash, via direct deposit or through a check in the mail
• Covering recent purchases
• Transferring to participating retailers rewards programs
• Sharing points with other ThankYou members
• Donating to charity

If you have multiple eligible credit cards, you may combine them into a single ThankYou account to earn and use points all in one place.

How do you redeem ThankYou Points?

You may redeem your ThankYou Points online or by calling the ThankYou Service Center.

To redeem your ThankYou Points online:

1. Go to ThankYou.com to view our entire rewards collection
2. Add what you want to your cart
3. From your cart, place your order

To redeem your points by phone, call the ThankYou Service Center at 1-800-THANKYOU (1-800-842-6596). Outside the U.S., please call collect at 859-283-8016. TTY: Use 711 or another Relay Service. Our hours of operation are Monday to Friday between 8 AM and 1 AM ET and Saturday and Sunday between 9 AM and 9 PM ET.

Can you use your ThankYou Points for travel?

Yes, you may use ThankYou Points to book hotels, flights, car rentals, and experiences with Citi Travel or by calling 1-833-737-1288 (TTY: 711).

How can you redeem your ThankYou Points to shop at participating partners?

ThankYou members with an eligible Citi credit card may Shop with Points at participating retailers. You may need to link your ThankYou account and the participating retailer’s account. Depending on the participating retailer, you may use points to cover the entire purchase or part of the purchase. For some participating retailers, you will receive a statement credit when you use points to cover all or part of your purchase.

Does Amazon.com accept ThankYou Points?

You’ll automatically be enrolled in Shop with Points when you add your eligible Citi credit card to your Amazon account. You may then use your ThankYou Points for eligible purchases when paying with your Citi card.

How can I redeem ThankYou Points for cash?

You may redeem ThankYou Points for cash by going to ThankYou.com and selecting “cash” from the reward options. You may receive that as a statement credit, via direct deposit or through a check in the mail.

How can I maximize my ThankYou Points?

There are a few ways that you may maximize the value of your ThankYou Points:

Focus on leveraging your existing eligible Citi credit card to earn ThankYou Points, based on your card’s points structure as well as your shopping habits.

If you apply for new credit, keep an eye out for credit card welcome bonuses, which may provide additional points for signing up and charging a certain amount within a given timeframe.

When do ThankYou Points expire?

ThankYou Points may expire depending on your Citi credit card, though shared points expire 90 days after receipt. You may see if any of your points are going to expire in the next 60 days by logging into ThankYou.com and looking under “My Points Summary” in the “My Account” section. ThankYou Points are subject to expiration as disclosed in the Citi ThankYou Rewards Terms and Conditions on ThankYou.com.
